Freudenberg Vilene Decovil I - dimensionally stable interlining material fleece

Decovil I is a high-quality, heat-applied interfacing with a leather-like feel – ideal for reinforcing bags, belts, hats, accessories, or creative sewing projects. It adds stability to fabrics while remaining flexible and malleable. The coating makes it particularly durable and hard-wearing.

Application

Steam iron the fabrics beforehand to prevent possible shrinkage later. Then place the interfacing, coated side down, on the wrong side of the outer fabric. Using a damp cloth, iron on gradually for about 6 seconds without pushing. After fusing, allow to cool thoroughly to stabilize the bond.
